The South Carolina Ghostbusters started in 2011 when some die hard movie fans got together and collaborated on Ghostbuster Halloween costumes.

Over the next couple of years, it expanded into a statewide group with members from the Lowcountry to the Upstate. 

​

Today the SCGB are a fan favorite at comic conventions and events all across the state. 

 

Our mission: to bring a joyful experience to each person we encounter.

SCGB participates in events and charities across the state. 

Our mission of bringing joy to everyone we meet doesn’t stop at the local comic book shop.

Events include children’s hospital visits, birthday parties, and charities. 

This is our passion. Yes, we are a cosplay group, but mostly we are a cosplay group with a purpose.
